Video: How to tie a headscarf using an infinity scarf

I haven't made a video for you guys in a while (see here for an explanation!) but I've developed a sweet trick using an infinity scarf that I was so sure you'd love, I couldn't resist getting the video camera out again...

If you're not familiar with an infinity scarf (sometime also called a circle scarf, or a tube scarf), they are loops of stretchy cotton primarily designed to be worn around your neck, but why let that stop you making a BRILLIANT headscarf out of one? As I explain in the vid, these types of scarves are very common on the High Street, where they're also pretty cheap — here in the US, Forever 21 and H&M are my primary hunting grounds. -- UPDATE: I just found a bunch of perfectly-stretchy infinity scarves in lovely colors in my local Whole Foods, of all places! They were Limited-Edition Zero Waste Infinity Scarves by Yellow 108 at $24,99 -- I can't for the life of me find a link for buying online, but I'll keep you posted. --

Enjoy the video, and let me know what you think in the comments! C xo

  3. I love your videos so much! My head was shaved two days ago (chemo/ovarian cancer), but I already am having so much fun with scarves and hats. Thanks to your video of the tying a scarf with a ponytail holder, I had practiced beforehand and am now quite good at it. Your video on creating eyebrows is just genius and looks so amazing. I am prepared to tackle that, too, when the time comes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! for making these videos for us! You are beautiful.

    1. Hi Sheila -- I'm so sorry I didn't reply to your comment straightaway, it totally slipped through my net! The little dark cap I wear under my headscarves is called a Kimmy hat from online retailer Suburban Turban. They ship most places around the world! Good luck with everything, and please let me know if you have any more questions xo
