Video: how to wear a Buff

For those days when tying a scarf feels like too much of a stretch, I love wearing Buffs. For the uninitiated, a Buff is a soft, seamless cotton tube that covers the head like a cap - you just slide it onto your head and you're done. (Particularly nice to have to hand when you're relaxing 'au naturel' at home and the postman knocks at the door...)

There are a number of ways to wear your Buff, which this brief video introduces!

PS. Buffs are available in selected outdoors shops and online - here's their UK and US sites to get you started...

  1. I love your little black cap. What is that type of cap called and where can you find them?

    1. Yes, I agree with Amy. I love that black cap and would love to find one. I have worn turbans for years but I hate the knots in the back and the front. But the black cap is so nice.

And I have never heard of buffs, but I LOVE THEM! I'm going to look and see if I can find them in the States.

      Thanks!

  2. Hi, I've only just found your blog and how to videos!! I've gone through chemotherapy and radiation and lost all my hair, eyebrows and eyelashes and I'm saddened that I didn't know this blog back then - I wouod have used ALL your lessons on how to put on head scarves, lashes and eye brows!!
Thank you, so much, for doing this and making it look so easy, and easy to follow!!
I am going to have chemotherapy again - boo - but know I will be ok this time as I will follow your guides!

I am wondering where you got your black cap from please? Like you, I would like to buy one also, just for that extra security - or even keeping my head warmer overnight!! If you could please let me know where you got it from, or what brand it is - as I don't live in UK!

You are so beautiful! Keep up the good work, and you are helping more people than you even realize!

    Thanks,
    Sarah from New Zealand

  3. I loved in a "buff" all during chemo. I don't know what we call them here in America.
